IMPORTANT: Before we can configure remote access from home to your Office PC, you must first disable sleep mode and install TeamViewer.

Step 1: Disable Sleep Mode

  1. If you have a notebook, make sure it is connected to power and not just running on battery.
  2. In the ‘search bar’ at the bottom, type ‘power’ and choose ‘Edit power plan‘.
  3. Change the settings so they match:
    • On battery: Turn off the display:  5 minutes
    • On battery: Put the computer to sleep: 10 minutes
    • Plugged in: Turn off the display: 10 minutes
    • Plugged in: Put the computer to sleep: NEVER
  4. Save changes

Step 2: Install TeamViewer

  1. If you already have TeamViewer on your PC, you can skip this step and proceed to Step 3.
  2. Download TeamViewer by visiting the following: https://millerit.ca/tv
  3. When downloaded, open TeamViewerQS.exe.
  4. Click yes/continue for any prompts.
  5. Accept the License Agreement and click Continue.
  6. Here, you will find your TeamViewer ID and TeamViewer Password, as is required on the form below.
  7. You can close the browser window… but do not close the MillerIT QuickSupport window.

Step 3: Complete the form

Private details below will not be shared with your manager.

Please provide the TeamViewer Password for your Home PC as per Step 2 above.
Please provide the password used to log into your Home PC.
Please provide the password used to log into your Office PC.
